DO:

  • Varied: Mix exact match, partial match, and branded terms.

DON'T:

  • Stuffing: Every link says "SEO services" (spam signal).
  • Generic: "click here", "read more" (wasted opportunity).

Orphaned Page Prevention

Warning: Avoid Orphans

An "orphan" is a page with ZERO internal links pointing to it. Search engines can't find them, and users can't navigate to them.

Prevention Checklist:

  • Every new page must have at least 3 inbound links immediately.
  • Use site:domain.com inurl:slug to check indexation.
  • Run Screaming Frog monthly to identify accidental orphans.
