WhyFill

My own product. Answer plain questions once, and the official government PDF fills itself. One encrypted profile, reused on every form.

WhyFill, saas project by Isaac Benyakar

What it is

My own product. A government form is a data entry problem, and WhyFill treats it that way: a guided interview asks plain questions and maps the answers onto the real fields of the official PDF. The profile is stored once, encrypted, and reused, so the second form starts mostly answered. The interview runs in English, Spanish, Chinese or Hebrew, and the form comes out in English because that is the version the agency accepts. Every page is shown before payment.

What it does

6 things, working.

01

A guided interview in plain language, in place of the form's own wording

02

Answers written into the real fields of the official published PDF

03

One encrypted profile, reused on every form that asks for the same facts

04

The interview in English, Spanish, Chinese or Hebrew; the form in English

05

Every page of the finished form shown, watermarked, before payment

06

The edition date of each form kept with it, so a new edition is a re-render

Screens

See it running.

The build

Why, and how.

The problem

The forms are public and free to download, yet people pay someone else to fill them in, because the form asks for the same facts twice, in language that is hard to be sure about, and is rejected on the wrong edition.

What I built

An interview that asks each fact once in plain words, stores it encrypted, and writes it onto the official PDF. The mapping is the engineering. The plain question is the product.

How it was built

  • A form is stored as a set of answers, not a finished file
  • The translation is of the interview, never of the form the agency receives
  • Nothing is paid for before it has been read

What came of it

  • 44 forms available, counted October 8, 2026
  • On the I-90 interview, 21 of 34 questions arrive already answered from the profile
  • Four interview languages, one English form
  • The finished PDF is rendered in a serverless function, with no machine of mine in the loop
